Saudi King, Crown Prince congratulate Emir of Qatar on success of World Cup 2022.

The Saudi Press Media reported the message on Tuesday: "We are glad to extend to Your Highness our sincere congratulations and best wishes for further achievements."

Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, also conveyed a similar message.

The pleasure is mine to convey my deepest congratulations and best wishes to Your Highness.

Messages of congratulations to Qatar have also been issued from other Arab nations.

Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman praised the efforts made by the Qatari government and people to make this international football event a success in a message to Sheikh Tamim.

Sheikh Tamim received a cable of congratulations from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as did Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, who also sent a cable of congratulations to the Emir of Qatar.

In a separate statement, the Kuwaiti Cabinet praised Sheikh Tamim and the people of Qatar for hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 in an "amazing" manner.

The Cabinet expressed appreciation for Qatar's significant resources deployed and outstanding efforts made to ensure the success of the very excellent international sporting event.
