Ticket auction for 'Beyond imagination'

Turki Al-Sheikh, the head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced early Monday the launch of a special ticket for the Riyadh Season Cup match between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal stars and Paris Saint-Germain of France.

The ticket for the match, which will take place on January 19 at King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, has been put up for auction.

Al-Sheikh said on Twitter, "For the first time... an auction was offered for only one ticket titled 'Beyond imagination,' with unique and diverse features that are very special."

It will have fictitious specifications and benefits, such as an invitation to the ceremony to present the Riyadh Season Cup, honour the cup's winner, and enter the players' dressing room.

This month's auction will conclude on the 17th. "The auction began with SR1 million, and all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Ehsan Charity platform," Al-Sheikh wrote on Twitter.

The ticket also includes the opportunity to attend a gala dinner with the players, enter their dressing room, and present the trophy.

On the day of the game, the ticket holder will accompany Turki Al-Sheikh to the stadium. The match tickets were completely sold out within a few hours of going on sale on Sunday evening.

Ticket prices ranged from SR30 to SR60.

The historic match will feature the first meeting between world superstars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappe since Ronaldo's move to Saudi club Al-Nassr.

The stars of Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal include Ronaldo, who recently signed with Al-Nassr, and Messi, who led Argentina to the FIFA World Cup title in Qatar last month, as well as Frenchman Mbappe, who is the leading scorer in the 2022 World Cup.
